STANDARDS
Student Engagement and success –With a Ph.D. in Education Success Factors for First Nations Students, I will ensure that we focus intently on what works and work with students and teachers to identify solutions.
Community and parental engagement –I will ensure that our school board seeks out direction and feedback from our communities and works to be accountable to the voices of our students, parents, and communities.
Engaging the Nation – I will strive to ensure the foundations for collaboration that have been established will be strengthened and elevated to the next level as we partner in support of our students and families.
We will boldly and courageously acknowledge and examine hard truths about our education system: our absentee rate, our school leaving rate, the percentage of students who are bullied, the numbers of student who deal with mental health issues, including anxiety and depression.
